Knights The Knights carried on their traditions , goals and unique pledge week activities for the 25th year at Harding University. When asked about the purpose of pledge week, Mark Cornell , vice-president, said, "We try to unify the squires by making them do activities that make them work together as a team. We try to assist them in learning how to serve each other and God better. 11 When asked what makes Knights different from all the other clubs, Cornell said, "We try not to let society dictate our feelings , thoughts and actions. We all know what's right and, as a club, we strive for what is right no matter what eve1yone else is doing. 11 Kirk Hollis , club president, said, "What makes us unique is that we have members from all over the nation, as well as from a few foreign countries . However, when we get together with all our different backgrounds and interests, we do have a common trait that pulls us all together, and that is our Christianity. --Dave Jacobs Pledges Ken Young and Tim Cox shmv off their suits of armor during illy Day.
