VISA: Students Take Charge Of Campus Promotions Volunteers in Support of Admissions is an organization of the Admissions office which assists in recruiting students through letters, phone caJls and campus visits. VISA participated in High School Days and High School Bowl in the faJI and Youth Forum and Spring Sing Weekend in the spring semester. VISA enabled prospective students to see Harding as more than just buildings and programs, but as people. Mark Moore, sponsor of VISA, believed that this organization developed a rapport with prospective students that recruiters couldn't. Moore explained "VISA members aren't paid to write letters or make calls. They do it because they want to." VISA members tried to make prospective students feel right at home with students and faculty." One of the most successful activities that VISA assisted with was the West Coast Weekend.
