52 • ~ A desire to excel and do our best burned deep within each of us. Our abilities and talents were enhanced by the·different organizations in which we participated. For some it was music, law or theatre. Others preferred debate, bible study, or business. No matter what the subject area, the individual fire within each of us was fueled by a competitive spirit developed because of the diversity of each club and these persons who challenged us to give the best that we had to offer. Organizations became the grinding stone on which our talents and skills were sharpened; they served as the fuel that kept our flames burning brighter.• - Scott Busby Organizations Editor
