HERE & 9 ABROAD This summer was the 26th year that Harding faculty and students participated in International Campaigns, and it continued to be a highlight of the year. On May 14, 53 campaigners and leaders left Harding's campus for Italy, England, Scotland, and Australia. The Italy group, under the direction of Bob Corbin distributed 40,000 pieces of literature and taught English lessons using the Bible as a text. Dr. Evan Ulrey and his wife Betty took the England group to Wycombe, Loughborough, and Nottingham. They distributed 62,000 pieces of literature, sang, performed skits and helped with a youth rally and a community kids' project. Dwight and Barby Smith accompanied a group to Stirling, Peterhead, and Castlemilk, Scotland. They distributed literature, sang, door-knocked, and conducted a Kids' Bible Week and Family Nights. The group that went to Queensland, Australia was led by Neale and Treva Pryor. They conducted a youth rally, sang and knocked doors. Curtis Clements and his wife Pam (they were married while in Australia) took a group to Sydney, Australia distributing material, singing, and knocking doors.
