PJ{'I & Zeta 1{,lio All In The Name Of Love TNT social club is one of the oldest social clubs on campus and is filled with tradition. Some of these traditions have faded into legend and lore that every member knows well. But there remains the remnant of those old-time TNT traditions that will never die. The club meeting is one of them. "If TNT members will remember only one thing about TNT when they leave Harding, it will be the club meetings," said Andrew Craven, vicepresident. "It is the core of the club's unity," says president Hugh Galyean. The meeting begins with "TNT versus." This is the moment when members who missed the last meeting tell the jury (the whole club) why they were gone. The next order of business is the secretary's minutes from the last meeting. Somehow the secretary seems to always lose the real minutes and has to make up some fake ones. Usually this comes in the form of humor. "Ripping" on club members, purely in jest, is a common occurrence. An occasional r.ipping of Zeta Rho (to show them they are not forgotten) is also common. And then to finish the meeting completely, members sing the club song. While TNT was having fun ri):>- ping on Zeta Rho during th~ir club meetings, Zeta Rho was making memorable moments of their own. zeta Rho social club started off its 31st year with serviceoriented goals. During pledge week, club members and pledges visited Oakdale Nursing Home to sing to the residents. Other service projects included giving Thanksgiving dinners to needy families and helping with the "To Russia with Love" project, which helped to buy Bibles. By centering their focus on serving, the ladies of Zeta Rho grew closer together as a club and closer to God.+ - Chris Gonzalez, Heather Dreessen, & Tisha Coggin. AIN'T NOTHING BUT A HOUND DOG. TNT member Ben Henderson belts out a few old rock-n-roll hits as he impersonates the King in the all-student talent show. Many times the Benson stage became the center of stardom for amateur artists such as Henderson.
