¥- Henderson And Tacker Awarded The senior class elected Jeff Tacker and Laura Beth Henderson to receive the Regina Spirit Award. Candidates were selected based on their spiritual leadership and their dedication to the school. Tacker, a senior religious education major from West Memphis, Arkansas served as the Student Association spiritual life committee chairman. He also participated in Timothy Club and was historian for his men's social club, Chi Sigma Alpha. Tacker has campaigned in Kenya, Africa and has participated in the Harding University in Florence program. He served as the spiritual life committee chairman for the fall Student IMPACT. Henderson, a senior social work major from Searcy, Arkansas served as the special activities director for the Student Association. She was also the devotional director for her women's social club, Ko Jo Kai. Henderson is a talented singer and has participated in harding singing groups. These included the Good News singers and the University chorus. She was also a member of Peakof-the-Week singing group which opened for Mike Cope's Wednesday night Bible class. Laura Beth was described by her friends as a "loving and compassionate person who always has time for a friend." ENTERTAIN ME.
