College of Arts and Sciences Department of Home Economics Home Ee Gets an ''A'' The Home Economics Department received a grant from the state Department of Health and Human Services for the Childcare Provider Training Workshop, which was held in February. Among the students and professors in the Home Economic Department, there have been many accomplishments. Mrs. Sharon Crockett was elected Chairman of the Association for Children Under Six (SACUS). Dr. Elizabeth Wilson received her Doctorate this year along with being the N.E. District Chairman of Arkansas Home Economics Section. Juanita Campbell won first place in the White County Sew With Cotton Contest. Marsha Osborne, a Junior Vocational Home Economics major, received a $1,200 Scholarship by the Arkansas Extension Homemakers Counsel. Kelly Bolls was voted President of the Arkansas Home Economics Association-Student Member Section. This year the Home Economics Department professors received a grade of 100% on the Registered Dictation Exam.
