Kappa Tau Omega started their year off with a positive attitude. Brian Maddox, president of Kappa Tau, stated, "I would have to attribute this year's success of Kappa Tau Om.ega to the camaraderie among its members. Every one of our activities this year has been aimed at strengthening the friendships of club members." Prior to the club's full week of pledging, the club held a "drive-thru" mixer behind the New Gym. Heber Springs. They also had a basketball lock-in which brought the club members together. Each year the club chooses new queens. One of those chosen for the 199091 school year was Monica Kimbrell. She stated, "Kappa Tau Omega is a fantastic group of guys. I have noticed something unique and special in each of the members and I fell they all have something to offer on Harding's campus.
