.Winter festival OQ_een Burch crowned Winter f estivsl O!!_een T he annual Winter Festival succeeded once again with the crowning of a queen for the basketball team while also raising money for children to at - tend Camp Wyldewood, The basketball team nominated three queen candidates and the student body selected one as queen. This year 's queen was junior Syrena Burch of Madison, Tenn. The other nominees were senior Linda Jones of Merigold, Miss. and sophomore WINTER FESTIVAL QUEEN. Besides the excitement of the half-time crowning, the event was also a fund raiser to send children, otherwise unable, to Camp Wyldewood. Gata collected money the day before the game as well as at the door that evening. Also on the Winter Festival Court was a representative from each class.
