Spring '89 activities began with the club's participation in Spring Sing in their show, "Life in the Fast Vein," a group effort involving Omega Phi, Sigma Tau Sigma, Kappa Delta Kappa, Beta Phi Kappa, Phi Delta and Friends. Omega Phi then coordinated their annual Easter egg hunt for the Searcy Head Start children as their spring service project. The spring was concluded with the club's spring banquet at the Little Rock Club in downtown Little Rock. In the early fall the club enjoyed a hayride at Lavon Carter's farm and participated in most club sports. The ladies then threw a Halloween party for the Searcy Head Start children; members dressed in "toned down" costumes and entertained the children with games like "Pin-theN ose-on-the-Pumpkin." Sixteen members were inducted in the fall also. Club president Jackie Jordan said, "The great thing about Omega Phi is that I can be myself.
