I'm looking forward to continuing the closeness and friendships the club stands for." - Shari Purdom T raditions and memories began last spring for Delta Gamma Rho social club, one of five new clubs to form at Harding m the last year. " Firsts" for last spring included the club's participation in Spring Sing '89 with Ti - tans, Tri-Sigs and Kappa Tau in their show, " It's Geek to Me." The show won - third runner-up. Delta Gamma Rho also celebrated its first spring banquet, held at the Little Rock Club. Success in club sports was not slow in coming for Delta Gamma Rho, as they captured the girls' A-team basketball championship and played competitively in all other club sports. When the club's formal induction concluded, Delta Gamma Rho had 30 new memhers who had gone through a rigorous pledge week as "links." The induction brought the girls officially into the club's chain of sisterhood. The club's first full year proved to be very active. The girls had a stag party, Halloween party, Christmas banquet at the Steak Shop, and frequent devotionals. They also visited the Morrilton Children 's Home as their service project.
