"Chi Alpha Rho means lifelong friends to me. I know that, though we may be miles apart, our hearts are always near." - Robin Pruitt ' 'No one is too small to be able to help a friend," the motto for Chi Alpha Rho social club, was put into effect as the club spent a Saturday morning spring cleaning for the Searcy Sunshine School for special adults and children. The Sunshine School project was only one way in which Chi Alpha Rho served others. They also sent a care package to African missionanes Monte and Beth Cox, filled with items found in America but not in Africa. Last spring's activities included a banquet at the Holiday Inn North in Little Rock at which the theme was "Together These are the Best of Times." Also, the club enjoyed a St. Patrick's Day party and finished second in club basketball and softball. Before welcoming new members into the cl.uh, Chi Alpha Rho had a unity-strengthening fall outing. A Homecoming tea for former members, a hayride and a Christmas party topped off the fall semester, as well as participation in all club sports. Chi Alpha Rho president Robin Pruitt said, "Chi Alpha Rho means lifelong friends to me. I know that, though we may be miles apart, out hearts are always near." -Cayelynn Osborne Front row: Angela Sutherland, Patrice Busby, Lisa Ramseyer, Lisa Spence, Rebecca L.
