Brower · Dall as, TX Freshmen begin the year with enthusiasm, unity I f judged by the unending enthusiasm and unity, the work of the 1989-90 freshman class was successful. The class showed that it was very interested in quickly becoming a part of Harding. The classes' enthusiasm was noticed as they watched the Bisons win many games. From the hundreds of balloons floating over the stadium, to the piercing shouts of individual voices, the spirit of these first-year fans was demonstrated. This year's enthusiastic class also put on the first class party held in many years, "The Freshman Fling." With the help of the upperclassmen, the freshmen quickly took an active part in life at FRESHMEN CLASS OFFICERS. Some students involved themselves with service projects such as "His House" and "The Crew," while others helped with various fundraisers. The freshmen involved in athletics were able to be a part of the many accomplishments, including the football team winning the second conference championship.
