The Student Association Student Activities Committee, which consisted of about 20 members, was the group responsible for the many activities planned each semester. Headed by Dana Cash, senior, the committee worked closely with sponsor Steve Beliech in selecting the concerts and planning the S.A. parties offered during the school year. At one party, the S.A.C. had to clean the entire cafeteria to prepare it for everyone. People do not think they are volunteering to pick up trash, but that is part of the job they do not see." Members of this committee previewed films dur - ing the year and then met to discuss the pros and cons of the films rated G, PG, or PG-13. At the end of the year a list was compiled and submitted to Beliech, who tnen arranged for the film to be shown. "The S.A.C. is here to provide students with an alternative entertainment choice," said Cash.
