Music Groups: Time of Day, University Singers, University Chorus and Belles and Beaux sang their way into the hearts of their audiences T he Time of Day, Belles and Beaux, The University Chorus, and the University Singers provided opportunities for growth and expression through music. One performer commented that the organizations provided a "support group." Ten performers, Dr. Cliff Ganus III, a manager and a choreographer met three times a week throughout the year to rehearse a "mixture of standards , current hits, show tunes, and comedy," according to Dr. Ganus. Belles and Beaux performed on Homecoming and Spring Sing weekends and in chapel. They also sang for a junior/senior banquet in Tennessee, a Christmas banquet in Benton, A, and gave concerts in Tulsa and at Central Arkansas Christian School. Returning for the second year, the University Singers was made up of students who enjoyed singing and wanted to learn about choral music.
