1988-1989 Yearbook

Sub T-16 and Ko Jo Kai had a rewarding year, participating in many activities together and separately. Both clubs did well in sports. Sub T, the oldest club on campus, won the second place "A" team all-sports trophy and the first place "B" team all-sports trophy. Kojies also competed in volleyball, basketball, softbail, anci football. The success of these clubs went beyond sports. Service projects proved also to be of importance. Sub T built a courtyard by the Christian Life Center from the stones of the old rock houses. Kojies joined with Sub T to raise money for the Arkansas Children's Hospital and the Morrelton's Children's Home. Beyond work the clubs got together for fun times. Devotionals, a back-to-school cookout and a Halloween party were just a beginning. Kojies went beyond these with their own hayride, Christmas party, Spring Banquet and a slumber party. Sub T also had a hayride, Christmas party, and a Spring Banquet. Both clubs joined together for Spring Sing '88. Their show, "Santy Claus Takes a Sandy Pause", won first in theme and fourth runner-up in the Sweepstakes competition. Sub T and Kojies had a year of successes. Both clubs felt the biggest triumph was that through the work and play they grew "exceptionally close" to one another. TIME TO EAT.
