This motto could belong only to the men of Knights social club. The 26 pledges they took in this fall illustrated this motto by wearing suits of armor on Silly Day, and by participating in the traditional Knight's joust. Knights kept busy with many other club activities. After pledge week, they went to Camp Takodah for their annual weekend retreat. Other activities included a hayride, Spring Banquet, and participation in Spring Sing '88 where they joined with five other clubs to win the Sweepstakes award for the show "Just Clownin' Around." At the beginning of the school year they helped many students in getting from the airport to school through the "Knight's Taxi Service." The members also helped the Brown's Children's Home by having devotionals, a fall cookout, and a Christmas party. Travis Rogers said, "I feel the members solely and sincerely care about each other .. . through our diversity, we have formed a special type of unity." - Monica Bagley.
