OMEGA PHI 0 mega Phi has been a part of Harding's social club tradition for 53 <P years. This fall 17 new inductees endured the trials of Silly Day and pledgeweek to bring the active membership up to 54 women. Members continued to be active in all club sports and earned the title of softball champions for the Fall of 1988. "Love, loyalty and light from God to our fellowmen" - the club motto - accurately describes Omega Phi's loving and caring attitude and service shown to the Searcy Headstart program. The club conducted a Halloween party for the children in the fall and an Easter egg hunt in the spring. Members also participated in the collection of money and canned goods for the Food Bank. Although the club was involved, they still had time for fun. They had a hayride, a Christmas banquet, a Valentine party and a spring banquet. Enthusiasm, service, fun - all a part of Omega Phi. -Savannah Morley CLUB MAIL.
