aking new friends and strengthening old friendships, seemed to be a priority of the 35 social clubs. y An example of this was the devotional held on ·the first night of pledge week for all the women club pledges. The purpose of the devotional was to ease hard feelings about not getting into a club. Another example was the success of the Spring Sing show "Just Clownin' Around". Six social clubs united together to demonstrate the talent that can be found when clubs join efforts. Clubs are important at Harding, but friends come before the jerseys. Activities like these just showed that the clubs were making an effort in keeping unified. -Monica Bagley 184 Keeping unified GETTING TOGETHER.
