During this time pledges did anything club members asked just to prove loyalty to the club. With everything from getting dates for their pledge week superiors to gathering the shoe prints of five guys, every second of the day was filled for the pledge. The club member worked just as hard as they thought of effective endeavors for the recruit to participate in. "It's as hard on us as it is on them. But it created unity in the club, because they are all working together. Parades of pledges circled the tables singing unintelligible songs ·and tried to draw as much attention to themselves as possible. "Although it was an exhausting week, I met many people I wouldn't have otherwise and it really was a lot of fun," said Shantih member Kenda Kilpatrick.
