year. English professors Dr. Dennis Organ and Dr. Larry Long served as sponsors for the honor society. Sigma Theta Tau required its members to have baccalaureate degrees. It was Harding's national honor society for nurses. With fourteen members this year, it doubled its membership from last year's seven members. Thirteen of its members were new.
