ecomtttg Queett Trick or treat! The season of ghosts, goblins , and queens was at hand. The spirit of the Homecoming Queen coronation was captured on Friday, October 30 in the Benson Auditorium. Swarms of trick-or-treaters invaded the stage and went directly to see what kinds of treats would be behind the doors in front of them. Their first treat was Miss Elaine Looney, a freshman vocational home economics major from Mabelvale, AR. Behind door number two stood Miss Jessie Williams , a senior marketing major from Springfield , VA. Behind the third door Miss Stephanie McAfee, a junior accounting major from Missoula , MT, appeared. These three ladies were Homecoming Queen attendants. President David Burks had the honor of presenting McAfee with her crown. Reigning as Homecoming Queen brought about many different feelings. "It was fun, but I never dreamed of being Homecoming Queen; it was the farthest thing from my mind," replied Miss McAfee. Just as the season of Halloween was filled with much excitement and thrills, Homecoming weekend also brought those same feelings.
