Many of these men and women are graduates of Harding who have turned down far greater salaries than they receive in order to serve the students and assist the faculty and administration of the University. Others have moved to Searcy to send their children to the Academy and then the University and have remained long after their children have graduated, happy and excited about their work. They perform detailed tasks; they counsel students; they operate various auxiliary enterprises; they do secretarial work; they keep the campus beautiful; they supervise student workers; they contribute financially to the development campaigns. They take pride in their work. The excellence of the 428 staff members epitomizes the excellence of Harding.J1tt Chapel Comedy. Don Diffine posing as Nerdly T.
