Dr. Pryor spoke on lectureships at Alabama Christian College, York College, and David Lip- . scomb College. L. V. Pfeifer, assisted by Virgil Lawyer, pro- · fessor of history, directed the 1983 fall semester of the Harding University in Florence program. Dr. Carl Mitchell, assisted by Dr. Cliff Ganus III. professor of music, directed the 1984 spring semester of the HUF program. Dr. Mitchell spoke in Bologna in March, 1983, at a unity meeting of churches of Christ in central and northern Italy. He participated in a campaign in Geneve, Switzerland. He spoke twice on an Italian radio talk show on the family, drug addiction, and homosexuality. He conducted a meeting for the church in Florence, Italy, and led a group of 19 students on campaigns in 18 different Italian cities during May and June, 1983. He made plans for the international campaigns in Italy during the summer of 1984. Gordon Hogan served as the visiting professo r of missions for 1983-84. He came with an extensive background of mission work in Thailand and southeast Asia, especially Indonesia. For the past few years, he had served as president of the Bible school in Singapore. Jimmy Allen continued his intensive efforts in evangelization. During the academic year, he concentrated on week-end meetings in various parts of the United States with longer meetings being conducted during the summer. He also spoke on several lectureships. Joe Jones continued to serve as Director of the Christian Communications Program, an intensive two-year special program conducted by the Bible Department for preparation of preachers.
