Partly because of the trip , the Wildcats just cou ldn't seem to ge t it together. Every time they got the ball deep int o the Horne ts' territory, they either fumbled or simpl y couldn ' t make in into the endzone. The Wildcats killed Hazen statisti call y, but when the game was ove r Hazen came out with a winn ing sco re of 14-0. When the Wildcats were leading 7-0, the tailback for Scott was trapped in the endzone , and it looked like a sa fety fo r Scott , but then the tailback broke loose and ran 100 yards for the touchdown .
