Radcliffe - John 1-Radcliffe Alpha Delta Mu Alpha Psi " Societies Strive for Excellence in Their Fields A nat ional honor society for social wo rk programs, the Beta Lambda chapter of Alpha Delta Mu, opened membership to those social work majors with a 3.2 grade poi nt average or better. The society , whi ch was accredited by the Council on Social Work Education, strived to advance excellence in social work practice and to encourage , stimulate and maintain the scholarship of the individual members. The group began the year with only four members; however, the number grew after a late spring induction. Serving as a rewa rd for dramatic achievements, Alpha Psi opened membership to those students who had performed the equivalent to two major roles in dramatic productions combi ned with experience in technica l work and an opening in terest in the development of dramatics. A national honor society for college dramatics, the group worked to stimu late interest in theatrical activities . Connie Hi ll , presiden t of the group, commen ted, "Our group has so rt of gone inactive over the past coup le of years.
