Kyle Beaty, a political science major from Fairfax, Va., ser ved as president of the St udent Association. He said, " It was a complete accident that brought me to Harding, but the experiences I have gained could no t have been obtained anywhere else." Beaty enjoyed his membership in Sub T-16 because the Subbers "provided an element of unpredictability to my li fe." "Ha rding has prepared me to show love and concern for other people - people from every walk of Hfe ," said Lori Henley, a special education major from St. Louis. She was a member of Tri-Sigma Delta and a queen for their brother club, Theta Tau. Commenting on the way Harding had helped develop her spirit ual life. Henley said , "It has made my spirituali ty my own. " An economics major from Jonesboro, Michele Ellis was act ive in both student publications and the Student Assoc iation. For two years she was a sec tion editor for the Petit Jean and then was SA secreta ry in her seni or year. Of this experience, Ellis said, "Working on the SA has made me more aware of the way things work and the way the administration works with the students. " Ellis was a member of Zeta Rho social club . Wes Hamm of St. Jacob, Ill. maj ored in nursing.
