1982-1983 Yearbook

- Darrell L. Truitt The year was anything but typical. Administrators found national problems to be their own problems - falling enrollment and economic turmoil. The student body found a less tangible problem to be its struggle - life and its va l ue and meaning. With a revitalized awareness, the importance of an individual was realized. Sensitivity was exercised more carefully. Needing to pause without the time to do so, the year brought challenge after challenge. Excellence was maintained but not without giving birth to a pursuit of understanding. - Staff Photo "But it is the Spirit in a man, the breath of the Almighty, that gives him understanding."
