EIderhostel provides one more way for Harding to offer its special lifestyle to another group of people, who might otherwise never know " It's great to be at Harding! " There is even the possibility of Harding University in Florence, Italy, offering an Elderhostel program.~ The summer of 1982 saw a new face of Harding's quest to educate. Elderhostel is a program that offers elderly people a chance to broaden their horizons and experience I ife on college campuses across the nation. A total of 97 older persons attended the program. Harding offered classes in watercolor, bird -wat c hing , history of the Civi l War, and a Bible class, The Four Gospels. The sessions were so well attended - Jane Gore John Keller, assistant professor of art, instructs an Elderhostel student in watercolor technique.
