122/ Business Croups PBL Organized to Smooth Transition to Business World Because of its superior ability to ecfucate the public about free enterprise, the Economics Team was labeled as "the premier student organization in the nation working to preserve the economic system of cap italism." The five team members and their sponsor, Dr . Don Diffine, traveled across the nation speaking to various civic groups, professiona l societies, student assemb li es, teacher workshops, and political groups. After winning their third consecutive national championship, co-chairpersons Ell en Reid and Byron Carl ock were guests on the "A.M. Memphis" radio talk show.
