254 ·Alpha Chi Dr. Joel Anderson Promotes Graduate School Former student and teacher at Harding. Dr. Joel Anderson, spoke Novem· ber 16 to students, mainly juniors and seniors. interested in attending graduate school. Dr. Anderson, who serves as dean for the graduate school at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, was invited by Alpha Chi to speak to the students. He gave suggestions on ways to go about applying for admission to graduate school, discussed various graduate programs, and gave the students a better awareness of what to expect upon enter· ing graduate school. He also spoke on the financial opportunities available for graduate school applicants. Graduating magna cum laude from Harding in 1964. Dr. Anderson taught political science for one year at Harding after receiving his masters from American University in Washington, D.C.
