Club Clinches AII·Sports Title Striving to maintain a spirit of unity. Titans began the 1981·82 school year with a club cookout followed by a devotional . At this gathering, goals were set and priorities were established. Among the outings that Titans participated in was the fall canoe trip on Spring River. The trip included a picnic on the river and a cookout at the end of the day. Also in the fall. the members of Titans had a cookout and devotional at Bluff Hole. In the spring Titans held a bowling party at Bison Lanes. Titans continued to keep a strong hold in athletics. As last spring's AII·Sports Champions. 214· Titans members worked to maintain their coveted reputation. "A majority of the members are actively involved in the Titans sports program," said President Rodney Betts. "Although Titans is a fairly new club. only in its fifth year. I feel that it has become very strong. We compete athletically with other clubs and we feel that we have earned our place among the older, more established clubs." said President Betts.
