- Christopher Thompson _ClIrlWellll Dating Game Nets $900 A "Dating Game" benefit which involved KKYK disc jockey Craig O'Neal and Channel 4 news reporter Cynthia Roland was Ka Re Ta's major service project of the year. Approximately $900 was raised from the event and proceeds were given to the Arkansas Children's HospitaL O'Neal hosted the mock television game show and Tee Carr served as the Master of Ceremonies. The five winning couples were awarded prizes of movie tickets and dinner for two in Uttle Rock, all donated - Christopher Thompson by various Little Rock merchants. In Octooer tne club revisited the Children's HospitaL "I'm sure that 1 can speak for everyone in the club when I say that all the work that went into making the Dating Game a success was definitely worthwhile," said president Conchita Brown. "It was a great experience'" A Big Sister program was in· stigated in the fall semester in which every new member had one big sister. "Our goal was to make the girls feel more at home.
