-ShawnDa~tf A Year of Activities In a year filled with a variety of activities, the members of Chi Lambda Chi continued to emphasize their club motto, "Hands Serving Christ." Both Chi Lambda Chi and Alpha Gamma Omega visited Morriltpn Children's Home twice during the year, each time spending the day with the children, "I was really greatful that I got to go," said freshman member Becky Plumlee. "It was really touching to be with them and know that they appreciated us being there." Various holidays gave occasion to host a number of social functions. A Halloween Party with Kappa Tau and a Valentines Party gave the members a chance to celebrate the events with someone special. In November, the club held their Annual Country Supper. The evening began with a hayride to Wyldewood and, following hayfights and games, concluded with a fireside devo· tional. Christmas was celebrated at Casa Bonita's Mexican Restaurant in Little Rock. The spring semester was accented by a breakfast for the girls and beaux at sponsor Maxine Pfeifer's home, The yearly Spring Banquet, held at the little Rock Ramada Inn, concluded the year's activities. ~ I.
