Pledging Concludes With Bunking Party For the older members of Chi Alpha Rho, the year began with a sunrise devotional at . Wyldewood followed by a con· tinental breakfast. Alumni members Kat Miller and Liz Fike spoke to those present urging them to make the most of the year ahead of them. Concluding a hectic week of pledging activities, club sponsor Mrs. Bob Reely hosted the women for an overnight bunk· ing party. "It was a great way to end the 'pledge' routine," said freshman member Gail Reaves. "I felt more like a member of the club and I think it helped to establish a greater unity be· tween us," Throughout the year club members participated in a variety of social activities. After the party the girls and their dates, who were clad in appropriate Western Fashion. went as a group to view "Coal Miner's Daughter." The Wyldewood Ret reat Center was the site the Theta Psi's Christmas Party. Steve Awtrey and Jeff Woods, alias Santa and his elf Pinkie, added an extra dosage of Christmas cheer to the festivities. Club members made stockings for their dates and decorated the tree with old· fashioned Christmas ornaments and strings of popcorn.
