322 KAT Christmas party sparkles The KATs received nine p ledges this year. After marching from the school to Ca rol Coker's house si nging t he club song, t he pledges and piedgemistresses had punch and cookies. The rest of the after· noon, the pledges were al the mercy of the old members. Friday night after the ballgame, the pledges were taken !O Judy Joyner's house to participate in rough night. The pledges spent a couple of hours playing games such as leapfrog and "Kiss the Water. " After the pledges made an attempt to clean uP. they were formally in itiated with a candlelight ce remony. The Christmas party was December 14 at Lori Pryor's home. After eating cookies and cake, the members presented t heir dates with stockings filled with toys and things to eat. They spent the rest of the time getting to know each other better by playing several games. The spring banquet was held March 21 at King' s Inn . After the meal and entertainment, members and their dates went to a party at Karen Flippin' s house . The cl ub beaux, John Ed Higginbotham and Scott Finley. gave all the !!lembers si lk roses.
