A bowling party and a trip to Pizza Hut in Searcy afforded them the opportunity of getting to know each other even more. Sub T took the ball away in sports this year. In softball, their A team came in 3ed, and their C and 0 teams both finished 1sl. Their A team placed 2nd in football, and their B, C, and 0 teams came in 1st. Also, in volleyball, their A team won 4th place, and their D team catpured 1st. Sub T celebrated the holiday season with a "Pearl Harbor" Christmas Party. Everyone dressed in either Hawaiian or military costumes. Hawaiian food was in abundance and the National Guard Armory was decorated appropriately for the occasion. The highlight of the evening was a World War II army film with an original script by Sub T'ers to fit Harding. A hoe-down and a hayride for Kojies was held last fall at the fairgrounds. At the hoe-down, they played games, sang, and ate together. Afterward, they went on a 2-hour hayride. Kojies' Christmas Party was held at the Carmichael Community Center. Along with Ka Re Ta and Tri Kappa, they went to Wyldewood for a cookout and a tri-club devotional. Sub T and Ko Jo Kai visited Southern Christian Home at Morrilton during the Christmas season. They played games with the children and helped them put up and decorate the Christmas tree. As a last touch, they put the gifts they had brought for the children under the tree. Sub T and Kojies wound up another year of service and fun with enthusiastic participation in Spring Sing.
