Kappa Phi Kappa Phi Undefeated in Speedball Kappa Phi "broke the ice" between old and new members in November with an iceskating party and a supper in Little Rock . Before initiating the new members, however, the old members spent a day hiking and picnicing at Petit Jean Mountain. Along with spontaneous out· ings by members was a club party held at Pizza Hut and a bunking party held at the home of sponsor Vickie Keck . The Christmas season was highlighted by a visit to Byrd Haven Nursing Home. Another skating party was held in January with Lambdas. There, they had the opportunity to be spectators of a unique hockey game. The players used brooms as hockey sticks, and a box of cereal for the puck. The members shared spiritually with Lambdas holding joint devotio!lals. A club breakfast and devotional was held at Wyldewood during the fall semester. Another breakfast was held in early February. Kappa Phi had an exciting year in sports. They won second place in large club softball competition. The speedball team played a perfect season, winning every game and the first place trophy. Actively involved in voUeyball, they fielded A, B, C, and D teams. 1.
