Skip Bradley, a native of Cincinnati, Ohio, was a journalism major with the distinction of maintaining a 4.0 grade point average. He was a member of Alpha Chi, a reporter for the Bison staff, a member of Fraters social club, the Society of Collegiate Journalists, and the Timothy club. He was a sports writer for the Searcy Daily Citizen and a ninth-grade teacher at the College Church of Christ. He also participated in intramurals and in Spring break campaigns. 136 Who'sWho Serving as Student Association president ior 1980-81 was Walt Buce, an accounting major from Bartlesville. Oklahoma. Walt, who had previously worked on the S.A. as treasurer in 1979-80, was a member of Alpha Chi, the American Studies program, Delta Mu Delta, the Free Enterprise Economics Team, Intercollegiate Debate, and Pi Kappa Delta, and King's Men social club. He was also a member of the organization of Students for Reagan. "My goal in life," Buce stated, "Is to be a successful Christian professional." An elementary major from Searcy, Arkansas, Kathleen Cannon served in various clubs. She was a member of Chi Alpha Rho, Alpha Chi, and Kappa Delta Chi. Intellectual and spirilual clubs in which she was involved were the American Studies program, the May Campaigns, and the World Evangelism Forum. JOY also en· joyed her membership. "The friends I have made and the experiences I have had at Harding are the biggest blessings the Lord has ever given me. As a teacher. I want the children to see Jesus living in me and when they begin to search for meaning in their lives, to remember the life of Jesus," remarked Kathleen as she considered her life at Harding. Barbara Cash, a nursing major and a transfer from Columbia Christian College, was a member of Phi Delta social club, Alpha Chi, Chorale, Conquerors, Austrian Campaigns, the Student Nurses Association, the Nursing Honor Society. JOY, and served both as May Fete royalty and Homecoming Class Representative for the seniors. HOne goal I have had all of my life is to do missions work in another country," she stated. "In the time I've spent here I've been blessed more than I ever would have thought possible. The opportunities to build relationships - with the Lord and with people - are priceless."
