The French Club, which is sponsored by Winfred Wright, chairman ofthe Modern Foreign Language Department, was likewise very active this year. Wright said the club engaged in language study. culture study. panel discussions and field trips in an effort to draw interested people closer together. David McAnulty Jr., a visiting missionary from France, showed a slide series to the group on the work of the church in France. Holidays received special attention from the dub.
