Chi Lambda Ch i placed a specia l emphasis on service this year, whi le planning many o ther ac tivit es. Continuing in what has become an annual project , Chi Lambda , along with AGO, went to the Morrilton Children 's Home in October to visit with the children and help with the general repai rs of the home . Later that month , the clubs assisted the doc tors of the Sea rcy Medical Cl in ic as they gave free medical examinations to the children from the home. Prese rvi ng the Chi Lambda trad ition , members part icipated in the Homecoming parade , dressing as clowns and tossing candy to the spectators. Thi s fall Chi Lambda instigated what is to become a yearly activ ity, sharing an hour of devot ion with a different women 's club every two weeks . Having been named third runner-up with their present ation of "Celebrate" in Spring Si ng '79, Chi Lambda and AGO joined again for this yea r 's show with the theme 'Think Pink. " tr~' 1.
