72 Float trip becomes semi-annual event When the Wilbur Ballinger home burned in December, Kappa Sigma Kappa and their sister club , Tri .Kappa, helped collect contributi ons from the student body to aid the homeless family . Earlier, the clubs began the fa ll semester with a joint devo tional a t Camp Wyldewood. A Spring River float trip followed in October and was so successful the clubs made plans to go again in the spring. Taking advantage of the holidays, Tri Kappa had a Halloween party with their brother club at the home of Kappa Sig member Mike Vanl andingham. They brought in the Christmas season with their dates at the Green Barn res taurant. Both clubs participated in a Valen tine's party at the College church fellowship hall. Decked out as hot peppers, they presented their 1980 Spring Sing show "Hot Stuff. " P , urr; Kappa Sigma Kappa Kappa Sigs and Tri-Kappa
