With two games left in the season, sophomore quarterback Scott Finley suffered a punctured lung which kept him from completing the season. During the first minutes of the Wildcats' last game of the season, Alan Pryor broke Senior Football his hand while making a tackle against a Jefferson Prep Patriot. Ross Spurlock, Jack Smith, Keith Miller , Anthony Tallbear, and Greg Barry also missed out on action because of injuries. Despite, these injuries, the Wildcats maintained a fighting spirit and endured to the very end. Four Wildcats were named to the AllConference team. They were seniors Tim Walker, linebacker; Steve Ballinger, defensive line; Alan Pryor, tight end; and Jack Smith, defensive back.
