· . Faculty spends busy year F A C U L T Y 352 For the second year the Pre-School Faculty Conference incorporated the Arka nsas Christian Educators' Conference . Teachers and administrators from area schools attended the two-day conference. Because the new Academy building was begun early in the fall, the faculty spent many hours with the architect and later with each o ther exchanging ideas and drawing final plans . A self-study began this year and will continue into 1981 as part of the North Central reevaluation. Every seven years a school which belongs to the North Central Association of Schools and Colleges is required to make a thorough evaluation of every aspect of the school - its philosophy, activities, curriculum and faculty. Every faculty member was assigned to several committees early in January as the process of selfevaluation began. They especially enjoyed the faculty's landslide victory over the students in the fall facultystudent softball game. Special treats were provided by the Home Economics III class at five faculty meetings. The girls prepared teas with decorations appropriate to the season. New teachers included Coach Gary Rhodes, who also taught Bible and math; Coach Dennis Rine, who also taught psychology and Bible; Miss Kay Randolph, speech and English; Mrs. Mary Ann Harris, Spanish and aide in girls physical education; Mrs .
