Of the fifty-<>ight people in the senior ss, nine have been at Harding Academy ee the first grade. They are Scarlett Kell, an Pryor, Clark Ozbim, Kimmie Vinson, ve Ballinger, Tim Walker. Beverly A1ex~ der, Susan Wright and Stephen Burkett. Most students do not realize what Har~ g Academy has to offer until their last r; these nine were no exception . As duation approached, they found themves reminiscing more and more. Beverly exander said, 'Tve loved all my teachers from Mrs. Blue to Coach Barden to r .McCoy. And [ love all my classmates rly." Many, many memories can be recalled, h as putting pine cones in a teacher's ir, teaching each other to ice skate hav- 'There are many reasons why Harding Academy is a special part of my life. I think the best thing about it for me has been that at Har~ ding I have found other people who sha re my love for God and my values. Harding is filled to the brim with wonderful God~fearing people. Many of these people I knew of, bUI never got to know them as well as I would have liked. But the dose friendships I have made here will probably be friends for the rest of my life. "I praise God for giving these friends to me and urge all of you who will still be>at this unique school next year to take advantage of your oportunities. All remember the music classes under the direction of Mrs, Florence Henry - one of their favorite games to play was "'The Little Red Caboose. "' Another often-discussed memory was the day in second grade when Susan Wright became ilJ; there is still a controversy over whose desk she threw up on' An these seniors had one common plea to the stJ'dents who still had years left at the Academy - take advantage of the many opportunities which Harding has to offer, realize what they are blessed with, and carry on the tradition for which Harding Academy is known.
