336 Cheerleaders' early start builds spirit The varsi ty cheerl eaders had an early sta rt last August by hosting th e cheerleade rs from two o ther Christian schoo ls : Crowley's Ridge and Central Arkansas Christ ian . The three groups sha red old ideas and thought of new ones. When footba ll season began, the cheerleaders took the responsibility of building enthusiasm and excitement amollg the Wildcat fans. A favorite activity for cheerleade rs and fans alike was the th rowing of miniature red and white footballs in - to the crowd at each home game. Added to this were the routines, pep rallies, bonf ires and post-game parties which added even more spark to the Wildcat spirit. Foo tball was not the onl y exciting sport played. Baske tball season proved to be just as exciting and enjoyable. The cheerleaders and fans continued to show support fo r the Wildcats by presenting the players wi th a large cake with the inscription, "We Love You , Cats!" The coaches, players, and fan s appreciated the cheerleaders' hard work , who in turn enjoyed representing the school.
