Mike, a pre-dental chemistry major from Franklin, Tennessee , was vice-president of the Pre-Dental Club. A sports enthusiast, he actively participated in intramurals and was selected as an all-star. He was also the basketball announcer for KHCA campus radio. Mike was beau of Ju Go Ju and Chi Lambda Chi social clubs. President of TNT, he was head of the Student AssociationTNT book exchange and served on the Special Food Investigation Committee for the S A Mike took part in May Campaigns as well as a campaign to Michigan. Who's Who Bob Perkins A speech major, Bob Perkins used his theatrical talents extensively as he excelled in drama during his years at Harding, His stage appearances included roles in "1776," "The Sound of Music," "Arms and the Man" and "Brigadoon," for which he received Best Supporting Actor honors. He also received the Bensky Award, an award given to one who has shown excellence in drama. Bob was a member of Campus Players, A Cappella, and the Art Guild. He was named to Alpha Chi and was a member of Chi Sigma Alpha social club. He certified to teach drama on the high school level and has made plans to tour during the summer with His Players. David Perkins Senior accounting major David Perkins of Memphis has made plans to pursue his masters degree in business administration after leaving Harding. A member of the Reno Business Team, David held memberships in Delta Mu Delta and Alpha Chi honor societies. He participated in the Big Buddies program, the American Studies program and in A Cappella. A member of TNT social club, he was also beau for OEGE women's club. David was also part of the annual evangelistic campaigns to the St. Louis area during sp~ing break . Bruce Piller Bruce Piller, an accounting major from Neenah, Wisconsin , was a member of both Alpha Chi and the American Studies program for three years. Bruce was a member of Theta Tau Delta social club and was president of Delta Mu Delta. in playing intramural sports, he felt they taught him discipline. Upon leaving Harding, Bruce will attend graduate school at Southern Illinois University at Carbondale to pursue his MBA degree. Mark Piller A transfer from the University of Wisconsin at Milwaukee, psychology and Bible major Mark Piller said he liked the challenge of "being all you can be." A member of Alpha Chi and Alpha Psi Omega, Mark was also involved in Campaigns, Psi Chi and Timothy Club. He was also a member of Alpha Omega social club. Mark stated that when he began running he did it only for physical fitness aspects. "I never dreamed I would ever participate in the school athletic program," he related. Eventually, however, he did contribute to the success of the cross country and track team, lettering in both sports .
