One outstanding quality in Renee Gentry's life is her genuine concern for others. Enrolling in the Academy as a Soph9more in August of 1977, she has spent her last three years working with the junior high girls. She hosted numerous parties and devotionals to "help the girls get to know each other better, and to help them get their goals firmly established early in life." Her concern grew from her own junior high experiences in Michigan, where the situation was somewhat different. "I feel challenged to study the Bible more and to search out a faith of my own, because of the deep spiritual friendships I have made," reflected the president of Beta Club. "But it upset me that many weren't taking advantage of the spiritual atmosphere that exists at the Academy." Seniors ~ 355
