All freshmen are automatically "dumb" and "air-headed" and transfers are either "rejects" or "different" until they are measured according to the peer group's rule-of-thumb. If rich , you are predicted to be either "ok" or "snobby" and, if you are an elder's or preacher's kid, you will natura lly be "bad" or so good you "bend backward."
