.---____-________ ALPH~ CHI__ ---I Induction record set Breaking the record set in 1977-78 when 98 new members were inducted, the Arkansas Eta Chapter of Alpha Chi inducted a total of 126 members this year during ceremonies on September 27, 1978 and February 14, 1979. As the 1979 Petit Jean went to press, twelve members of the Arkansas Eta Chapter were making plans to attend the biennial National Convention of Alpha Chi at the Grand Hotel in New Orleans on April 5-7, accompanying the three sponsors: Dr . Don England, Joe Pryor and Neale Pryor, and Dr. Dennis Organ, editor of the publications of Alpha Chi. On March 30-April I , 1978, three students accompanied the same faculty members to Oklahoma City for the Region II convention hosted by Oklahoma Christian College. Dr . Neale Pryor served as chairman of one of the discussion groups and Bob Harding was finalist in the election of a student representative from Region II to the National Council. 1.
